OK Kevin the KGet stall problem is still there with the F9 review CD,

So I ran some more tests this morning with the F8/KDE-4.0.2 box and was able
to use KGet to transfer files between drives no problem.
It will not work at all trying to download a file from the Net. It just sits
there waiting to start. (delayed)

My initial search found this bug and I have an idea it could be the problem
assuming this patch has not been applied:

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156259

I'll keep looking/testing.

Cheers
