Have a look at the Open Font Library selections:

http://openfontlibrary.org/media/view/media/fonts

If you want to install your fonts so they're available to all your
applications, then you can install them via the KDE font installer. You
might also look up Fonty Python or FontMatrix as alternative installers.
FontMatrix is especially good.
