plug-n-play can be a problem. Someone always has to develop a

well, in a few minutes of googling, i've found enough to convince me
that it's doable and that others have done it, so i'm going to start
piecing together the info and see if i can come up with a coherent
recipe. but if anyone's already gone thru this and has the
instructions, that would be cool.
to recap, i now own a hauppauge wintv-hvr 950 hybrid tv stick, and
wanted to see how well i could pull in local (OTA) HDTV signals and
play them. i've already had xawtv recommended to me as the viewing
app, and i'm guessing i have to download and build the latest module
based on what i read here:
