hi,
Just wondering on the Fedora 9 that coming out soon.
Will it support for video resolution for the widescreen lcd monitors?
I am currently with ATI Radeon X1650 Pro and Viewsonic VA1912wb monitor.
Appreciate any info, thanks

I'm pretty sure Fedora supports widescreen resolutions really well already.

I'm using 1680x1050 on my laptop right now (ATI x1400 mobile, fglrx driver, F8); my workstation setup was, until recently 1440x900 (same monitor as yours, I think), ATI x800, radeon driver, FC6; current workstation setup is 1920x1200, ATI x800, radeon driver, F8.

I've had some problems using FC6's radeon driver with 1920x1200, however. Not sure what that was about, most likely outdated drivers (instead of updating/upgrading, I decided to reinstall onto a fresh partition.
