Hi all, I installed cinepaint from fedora repos. But after I start it from shell, I receive a lot of messages. The i386 version as more warning and errors than x86_64 but both crash when I chose to start with a new file. The messages are: *** buffer overflow detected ***: cinepaint terminated ======= Backtrace: ========= /lib/libc.so.6(__fortify_fail+0x48)[0x8d8b58] /lib/libc.so.6[0x8d7200] /lib/libc.so.6[0x8d6918] /lib/libc.so.6(_IO_default_xsputn+0xcd)[0x854e8d] /lib/libc.so.6(_IO_vfprintf+0x135)[0x82b815] /lib/libc.so.6(__vsprintf_chk+0xad)[0x8d69cd] /lib/libc.so.6(__sprintf_chk+0x30)[0x8d6900] cinepaint[0x8073ca0] cinepaint[0x80751c9] cinepaint[0x806a428] cinepaint[0x806ad0b] cinepaint[0x80cb6ea] cinepaint[0x80a0185] cinepaint[0x812a437] ........ 00a7f000-00a83000 r--p 000df000 08:02 2317723 cinepaint terminated: sigabrt caught (cinepaint:4987): Gtk-WARNING **: A floating object was finalized. This means that someone called g_object_unref() on an object that had only a floating reference; the initial floating reference is not owned by anyone and must be removed with g_object_ref_sink(). Someone can explain me wath is wrong? Similar errors I have often with bibblepro (that is not from fedora repos) when I close it. Tnx in advance Ambrogio
