Hi,

very weird:

after installing the most recent F8 updates, in a lot of my machines (not all!!) after reboot the NIC information is destroyed, that is, /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 has been
overwritten and altered to DHCP protocol.

It seems that kudzu-1.2.79.2-1 is the culprit.

It did that to several of my machines, too. Incredibly annoying, since the machines are in a server room and not instantly accessible. IMO this is a serious bug, since the affected machines drop off the network (there's no dhcp) and become inaccessible.
