F8/K3B: problem with DVD copy on the fly

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

using F8 (Kernel 2.6.24.3-12.fc8) with gnome. Having problems to copy a DVD with K3B on the fly: After 98% of the DVD have been copied, K3b hangs up, and the status light of the target DVD still blinks.

After killing k3b it seems the target DVD holds a whole copy, but has not been closed.

I can avoid the problem by: 1) first read source image and 2) burn it on the target DVD.

Additionally I tried

	hal-disable-polling --device /dev/scd<xxx>

for my DVD drives, but did not help.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards
