The agent should be started with your session, so you can remove the
eval ssh-agent part.  You do still need to add your key(s) to the
agent to make it useful.  That can be done in a script as your do now.
You can also use pam_ssh to unlock your keys for you, if you're
willing to use the same passphrase on your ssh keys are you do for
long (which many people aren't).
