I updated 4 F8 systems the other night. The kernel was updated on 2 of them and was not updated on the other 2. Even after I did yum clean all to remove and cached information the 2 system still failed to update the kernel. I ran yum list | grep kernel on all 4 systems. On the 2 systems which had updated it showed the updated kernel version. On the 2 which failed to update it showed that I was running the most recent kernel. It took a while before the 2 systems that finally succeeded in getting updated. I assume this simply means that some mirrors update more quickly than others. Just be patient and try again later. Paolo
