just a stupid question for a stupid problem: why while you install
tetex, install script does not install tetex-xdvi package?
Lost some times to find out why I could not use dvi viewer with latex....
A lot of people don't use xdvi - but use pslatex or pdflatex - and tetex
is installed on a lot of servers that don't want the gui dependencies of
tetex-xdvi installed. At least that's what I suspect.
I suspect these days quite a few are using TeXLive instead of teTeX anyway.
