FWIW, I just upgraded my wife's laptop from F7 to F8 (mainly because of problems with b43 in the newest F7 kernel) and it's working beautifully. I did do a clean install, and grabbed the firmware from the web site the driver recommends when it can't find any firmware. Jonathan
