One of them had several ATAPI drives (ZIP, LS120, CD-burner, DVD-ROM), and my BIOS would let me boot from only some of them. I had to unplug some drives to do an install. I don't think I've seen further information, yet, about your system. The list of install devices is just a list, the system has to know how to access the DVD that entry points to, separately.
