I got yum and kyum to recognize my local repo on a usb drive by using Redora-8-comps.xml in the createrepo command. That is what is in the repodata file on the DVD. I ran createrepo from the directory containing the Packages directory not from Packages. I haven't tried to use groups. Robert McBroom
