In case anyone cares, XMMS works too.  I can't tell Audacious and XMMS apart, so I'm pretty happy to switch.



Have you tried audacious 1.4.4 and esd plugin?  It works just fine with flash for me.
I compiled it myself, but you can use rpms  available here (fc9):
