I haven't, but it makes me think of problems others have had in past
releases where a screensaver would crash and take down your session.
So perhaps disable all screen savers and see if it stops.  If if does,
selectively re-enable screensavers and see if you can find which one
causes this (IIRC, it was usually 3-D screensavers in the past that
caused this).

There may be some logs in ~/.xsession-errors.  But that file gets
overwritten at each login, so you'd want to login as another user or
from the console to see what it contained when X exited.
