	Hi there, 

		Yes, that is strange! I know you'll lose direct
rendering, but try changing the "Driver" line in xorg.conf to "nv"
instead of the current "nvidia". What "kmod" RPMs are installed on your
system ("rpm -qa kmod-\*")? Thanks,
