If any of the fedora maintainers are adventurous, you might want to get this patch into an update soon :-). https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10205 It certainly explains why I can't get X to take my ModeLine (the driver utterly ignores it :-). Anyway, I've officially gotten tired of the problems my radeon card causes, and I've ordered an nvidia card to provide a brand new set of problems :-). If I get really energetic I may try to rebuild the radeon driver myself with the patch applied.
