Maybe it is and fails and defaults to the > VESA driver. ---- which is sort of why I put the call out to other xorg radeon users on Fedora 8 to find out if any of them got decent video. I did get livna's implementation of their fglrx driver to run and it improved things but radeon driver should have worked better out of box. Craig
