Remember that the PS3 hypervisor will only give up 256MB of RAM for
Linux to use. That is why Yellow Dog chose enlightenment.
enlightenment 17 is coming along nicely now as far as I can tell. I
half expected it to show up in the repositories for Fedora 8, but I
haven't seen it yet.
If you try to run Gnome or KDE on a PS3, then I would expect it to do a
little extra paging/swap which will hurt performance.
