I've been asked to look for notebooks for my office that have built-in
serial ports. We've already used USB-to-serial adapters and port

the question. Can I get the big OEMs to sell me a few of these or am I out
of luck with them?

Some of Dell's Latitude line still have them. I've got a D820 here
with one, I believe the D830 (current model) still has one. According
to emperorlinux.com the D520 and D630 have them also.

My D620 has one too
