Help! If you're using Fedora 7, then there's no need to compile vim, as 7.1 is already included (up to patchlevel 12). If you're using an older Fedora, you're probably better off rebuilding the vim rpm from Fedora 7 if you want the behavior to match your previous Fedora vim install. You may find that the main difference is in the vimrc that the Fedora package ships. You can see that in cvs: http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewcvs/rpms/vim/F-7/ -- Todd OpenPGP -> KeyID: 0xBEAF0CE3 | URL: www.pobox.com/~tmz/pgp ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it. -- Mark Twain
