OK, using the following stanza resulted in various errors 1, 7, 13.

title Mandriva GRUB
        rootnoverify (hd1,0)
        chainloader +1
        makeactive
        boot
I removed the chainloader line did not work.  I removed the +1 did not
work.  I removed makeactive did not work.

I am going to try with a map drive command.
