The numbers in the profile directory are pseudo random.  It's a way of
(almost) guarenteeing a unique directory name as well as making it hard
for some outsider to guess the name of the directory where your private
files are located (although this is, pretty much, pointless).

Using FC 4, 5, 6 & 7, plus CentOS 5.  Today, it's FC7.
