I've been using Fedora 7 on my desktop for a few

design or just a mistake?

cdrecord doesn't exist, it's a link to wodim (a fork of cdrecord).

In the case of mkisofs, it's a link to genisofs.

Try "man wodim" and "man genisofs"

It's just me, but wouldn't it make sense, when a program like cdrecord or mkisofs is implemented as a link to another less well-known program, to include a link to the real program's man page as well?
