I yum installed just about all the fonts RPMs that were available in the
usual repos, taking some care to avoid some packages that aren't really
of use (read their descriptions).

Yes.




;-)

You might find them by looking for core or web core fonts.  There's
various packages of them on the internet.  Though it's something I'd
avoid, some of them are a bit ugly.  There's better Roman fonts than
Microsoft's Times.
