FC6 Released Updates include: firefox-1.5.0.12-4.fc6 (late July, provides "gecko-libs = 1.8.0.12") devhelp-0.12-11.fc6 (end of May) yelp-2.16.0-13.fc6 (end of May) There is no firefox related broken dependency listed for Fedora 6 (a script is run regularly for Fedora Extras 6 and also covers Fedora Core 6). > Error: Missing Dependency: gecko-libs = 1.8.0.12 is needed by package yelp > Error: Missing Dependency: gecko-libs = 1.8.0.12 is needed by package devhelp Such error messages are very often misinterpreted by users. This can also mean that some upgrade package _takes away_ the needed gecko-libs by upgrading it to a higher version. With firefox this has happened before when users enabled a repository for experimental packages of Firefox 2.
