Is it installed under another name? The install does not give info about that.

You need to run that as root.

From the # prompt, it looks like he is running as root.

[root@mikkel etc]# type memtest-setup
memtest-setup is /usr/sbin/memtest-setup

So it gets installed, at least on a FC6 system...

Yes, it came through. I run 5 full passes and got error count =0, but is 5 passes ususally enough?
