No not usual;ly. Actually I changed my rules because those didn't look like the right ones. Here is my current drupal.conf. I hope I did the rewrite correctly. Grin! First time for everything.

If you can't see the error, it might be easiest just to retype that
line.  I recall you saying that you're editing Linux files through
Windows, so that might be the cause (if it's a character issue).

That could be true but I always run it through dos2unix conversion before
implementing it.

Do you leave a blank line at the end of your scripts?  In some cases
that's needed, in others it causes problems.  In this case, I think it
might be required (that you hit enter at least once, on the final line).

Using FC 4, 5, 6 & 7, plus CentOS 5.  Today, it's FC7.
