I was thinking of this sort of thing:  The author runs the script, gets
a crash, fiddles with something, then tries to run it again.  I don't
know if that means they'd start from a clean slate, or if previously
created files would still be there.

Using FC 4, 5, 6 & 7, plus CentOS 5.  Today, it's FC7.
