At first glance, this looks good. But it gets a bit more complicated
then that when you have more then one user. I think a better way may
be to save/restore the settings only if you are the "console owner"
when you log in/out. You should also have a system default that
things are set to when the "console owner" logs out. Maybe this
should be an enhancement request for console.perms?
