install problem (from DVD)

I was installing F7 from DVD, but it has screeched to a halt. It tried 
to install BackupPC, but either it's corrupted or absent. I checked it
prior to using it - passed.

Is this a known problem? Or, perhaps I just need to reburn it (or 
redownload it).
