I don't know if this will help, but in our autofs configuration files, we explicitly define the version we want to use: 'vers=3': * -intr,hard,vers=3,rsize=32768,wsize=32768 mango:/export/nfs_share/& Maybe you can provide 'vers=3' as an option when issuing the mount command?
