I can tell you that I had problems upgrading my FC6 to F7, so I can only imagine the issues tthat would be there in your case. I recommend offloading data and/or directories to a portable usb drive, doing a fresh install without the drive, then plugging in and putting your data back. No risk of corruption or overwrite that way. Marc On 7/16/07, Aaron Konstam <akonstam@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:

You can save the directories from the fc4 system that you want to have on your F7 system (/home, /etc /root, for example) and reinstall what you want to on your f7 system. fc4 and f7 are just too different. -- ====================================================================== "You who hate the Jews so, why did you adopt their religion?" -- Friedrich Nietzsche, addressing anti-semitic Christians ======================================================================= Aaron Konstam telephone: (210) 656-0355 e-mail: akonstam@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
