I use a local fedora and fedora-updates repo for my home PCs, so I changed the yum repo files to use the default mirrors instead of my internal repo. I changed the repo files back to use my internal yum repo, and the dependencies were resolved okay, too. Even stranger. But, when I proceeded with the install, yum complained that it couldn't find the following packages: enca-1.9-3.fc6.i386.rpm libdvdread-0.9.7-2.fc7.i386.rpm These packages aren't on the Fedora 7 DVD. Since my local fedora.repo is built from that DVD, the files can't obviously be found. Why aren't those packages on the DVD? I suppose I have to change how I have my mirror setup, but that would really suck - I save a lot of space by mounting the Fedora 7 DVD iso and using it for my local fedora repo instead of copying the files off.
