Hi Todd,
The command mkpasswd disappeared, does not know what it happened
therefore was part of shadow-utils in the Fedora Core 6.
[root@]# mkpasswd
-bash: mkpasswd: command not found

Hi Clovis, try click on System-Administration-Users and Groups. You have
to be root and it asks for your password. Works just fine.
