Thank you Charles (and Jim and others), I repaired my mistake. the problem as I said is that I was unable to install those two rpm files (gcc and libgcc, because "rpm", needs from what I saw, to install a rpm file, a file named libgcc_s.so.1 that is a simlink of another one, named libgcc_s-4.1.2-20070626.so.1 _but_, those files are contained in the package I wanted to install (libgcc). So, without the package installed, I was not able to install a package and here specially the one which has the file needed by rpm. Yum install xxx didn't work too. So I took on another computer, the file libgcc_s-4.1.2-20070626.so.1, copied it on my computer under /lib, recreated the appropriate symlink, and reran "rpm -ivh xxxxx", and it worked fine.
