It went down the toilet with the rest of radio and television. I can't say that I've seen the story you mentioned, but I've seen plenty of crap journalism. It really gets me is when you see a reporter interviewing someone like a politician who is doing something outrageous, and the reporter never even asks the "why?" question. We even had one of our journos get caught out making up a story, and their response to being caught out was, "It doesn't really matter if it's not true, as long as it's interesting enough." Journalist - one who's told some unsubstantiated information, accepts it as fact, and invents a story to go along with it. Relies heavily on a cliche handbook. -- [tim@bigblack ~]$ rm -rfd /*^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Huname -ipr 2.6.21-1.3228.fc7 i686 i386 Using FC 4, 5, 6 & 7, plus CentOS 5. Today, it's FC7.
