Customization for a small system. Fedora 6 or 7 ?

Hi,

I want to bundle out any unwanted packages from the kernel as well as user
space. I want bare minimum Linux. Have to use Fedora only. Which version
of Fedora is better for the same? Should I go for Fedora 6.0  or 7.0 ??
