The userguide that can be downloaded from this page: http://www.thomson-broadband.co.uk/codepages/content3.asp?c=7&ProductID=514 states you connect to the router using 192.168.1.254 so this seems to confirm it. It also shows it is a dhcp server that can provide a pool of private addresses.
