khubd is at 100%-what is causing this?

I'm using FC7. Whenever I use my USB drive or pen drive, khubd starts
as it should but won't stop. It stays at 100% on one of the CPUs.
I can't kill it.  I don't have this problem on my laptop.

How can I track down what is hanging up khubd?
