To meet the May 31st deadline for release date, quite a bit of stuff was pulled from fc7, primarily in the areas of permitting the user to add multi-media support. The multi-media option, as I was lead to believe, does not come on the DVD, but the user can request a specific download, corresponding to when a specific type or media is requested. It would be helpful if we could have that update posted, so as to allow testing before fc8. And it could also hopefully make it into the respins. Leslie PS. Right now, I use freshrpms followed by livna. I am not aware if I can dispense with the former and rely only on livna for all the MM support.
