FC5 kernel 2319 -- livna madwifi update for kernel 2319 fails

Yum update wants to install
  kernel.i686 0:2.6.20-1.2319.fc5
from updates, and
  kmod-madwifi.i686 0:0.9.3.1-1.2.6.20_1.2319.fc5
from livna on my laptop.

Unfortunately, this fails because kmod-madwifi version
0.9.3.1 requires madwifi-kmod-common version 0.9.3.1
which would theoretically be supplied by a 0.9.3.1
version of the madwifi rpm.

Unfortunately, although the livna repository for fc6
and f7 contain the required madwifi version 0.9.3.1,
the fc5 repository only contains version 0.9.3.

This blocks use of the latest fc5 kernel (2319) if use
of the wireless card in the laptop is necessary (which
requires an Atheros compatible driver). This makes
the madwifi driver from livna necessary until/unless an
open source driver for the Atheros cards is produced.
(I believe that work is underway, but I don't believe
it is in the kernel yet.)

I have reported this to the livna bugzilla as bug 1554.
