But where that really bites is when you have a computer with built-in non-replaceable hardware (laptops, some motherboards without AGP, etc.). Having to spend >$1000 for the sake of a driver is galling. That's not just a Linux problem, though. -- (This box runs Centos 5.0, my others still run FC 4, 5, 6, & 7, in case that's important to the thread.)
