Hi there, I'm having a problem with my computer - it takes a while to boot up. Here's the stuff I think is relevant:* first problem appears right after "Uncompressing Linux... OK, booting the kernel." message:
ACPI: Invalid PBLK length [5]I've searched for the error on the net and noticed that this seems to affect Asus motherboards. I happen to have an Asus A7S-VM.
I'm not sure if this is related to the slowdown, though.* Right after PBLK message, I get "Red Hat nash version 6.0.9 starting" - and right after that comes the main problem (takes about a minute or so while the messages repeat a few times):
ata1.00: cmd c8/00:08:00:00:00/00:00:00:00:00/e0 tag 0 cdb 0x0 data 4096 in ata1.00: exception Emask 0x0 SAct 0x0 SErr 0x0 action 0x2 frozenThese two lines repeat about 4 times - then 1st of the two lines appears again - and then the bootup process continues normally (don't see any other obvious problems).
Can anything be done to fix this behavior? It's really annoying :( Thanks!
