Change the following settings in /etc/kde/kdm/kdmrc to get the FC6 look back:

UserList=true
to:
UserList=false

Theme=/usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/FedoraFlyingHigh
to:
Theme=/usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/FedoraDNA

ColorScheme=FedoraFlyingHigh
to:
#ColorScheme=
