The advice you usually get when you want changes in fedora is "submit
patches". However the most attractive point about free software is that
once something has been done correctly by anyone, everyone else can use
it without repeating the work. If you are going to rant, it doesn't
seem like too much to ask to look in the obvious places to see if the
improvement you want already exists.

Submit patches?
Do you mean Bugzilla or file an RFE(Request Feature Enhancement)?

Les,

One of the points of free software is to improve it and apply it to where it is needed. If the people from a certain distro improve something then they should share it with the others so it can benefit as many users as possible.

Now the question will become, if someone has successfully/is using skype successfully in Fedora 7 to share his/her experiences for the benefit of all so that all users can be happier and get on with their computing lives.

Regards,

Antonio
