Fedora 7 problem: no control bar on panels

the control bar on all panels disappeared suddenly, so no panel(console,
firefox, file browse) can be moved, resized, etc, even after restarting
nautilus. Logging as root or using KDE session everything works fine. Can
anybody help?!
