Subject: Audio failure, Lenovo 3000 N100

With FC7 running on this lappy, no audio is available. The sound
configuration shows the device correctly as does lspci:

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High
Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)

Before I bugzilla this, should I try anything?

Sean

Yes, please do.

add to /etc/modprobe.conf the following
"model=3stack"

Editing /etc/modprobe.conf
options snd-hda-intel index=0

to read:

options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=3stack

It was a bug that Dr. Diesel in fedora-test-list helped me get sound from a toshiba laptop.

The bug was
[Bug 240081] ICH7 No Sound *Fixed*

and filed against Fedora devel/Rawhide.

Hope this helps,

Antonio
