need some help with mysql

	I need to know how to set up mysql for a web cms packages.  Just
need to know how to get the daemon I have mysql 5 but can't get it started.
I think I might be missing some packages here.  Can some one tell me exactly
what packages I will need?  It is for Post Nuke cms.
