Do we have a good alarm clock for the GNOME desktop?

Hi All,
First up, I am surprised that there is no in-build alarm clock feature
in the OS. I guess, I had expected that such trivial functionality would
already be present. I tried searching through yum, but was unable to
locate any applet that provided this functionality.
Now, for the real question, is there any good alarm-clock applet that I
could use for the GNOME desktop? Currently I am using the command line
sleep command to achieve what I want, but then it is rather cumbersome.
Using evolution is not really a nice option, but if there is no other
alternative, then I guess, I shall have to make do with it. I just
wanted ask the list if there are good alternatives, before I churned out
my java-based application.
thanks,
Rogue
